Premier League Matchday Presentation
Director • Chelsea FC • 2012-
Bringing Live Stadium Productions to Life
Since 2012, I have directed the live big screen presentation at Chelsea Football Club, helping create the matchday experience for supporters at Stamford Bridge.
Alongside my long-standing work at Chelsea, I also regularly direct matchday presentations for Brentford FC and Arsenal FC, delivering live stadium productions for Premier League fixtures and major cup competitions.
Every match is unique, requiring fast editorial judgement, clear communication and precise timing to ensure the live presentation enhances the atmosphere inside the stadium while complementing the action on the pitch.
My Role
As Big Screen Director, I lead the live visual presentation seen by tens of thousands of supporters throughout the matchday.
Working closely with producers, presenters, vision mixers, replay operators, graphics teams and camera operators, I direct every element of the stadium show, including:
Pre-match build-up
Team arrivals and line-ups
Live camera coverage
Fan engagement features
Goal celebrations
Half-time entertainment
Sponsor content
Post-match coverage
Every decision has to be made in real time, balancing entertainment, editorial judgement and the pace of the game while operating within competition regulations and club guidelines.
Delivering Live Under Pressure
Unlike television broadcasts, stadium productions are experienced live by everyone inside the venue, leaving no opportunity for retakes.
Whether reacting instantly to a goal, capturing the emotion of a match-winning moment or coordinating sponsor activations with live crowd engagement, every cue must be delivered accurately and at exactly the right moment.
Success depends on calm leadership, effective communication and the ability to make confident decisions under pressure.
Trusted by Premier League Clubs
Having directed stadium productions for Chelsea FC since 2012, I have developed extensive experience in delivering high-profile live sporting events.
That experience has also led to regular directing opportunities with Brentford FC and Arsenal FC, working with different production teams while maintaining the same high broadcast standards expected at Premier League level.
Each club has its own style, audience and production requirements, making adaptability and teamwork essential to delivering a successful matchday experience.
