ARSENAL Champions Parade

Remote Director • Subset• 2026

Overview

Following Arsenal's Premier League title-winning season, hundreds of thousands of supporters lined the streets of North London to celebrate with the players and coaching staff.

Working with Subset, I directed the live world feed, delivering comprehensive coverage of the parade to broadcasters, digital platforms and international audiences.

My Role

As Television Director, I was responsible for the editorial direction of the live programme throughout the event.

Working closely with production, engineering and camera teams, I coordinated coverage across multiple cameras positioned along the parade route, ensuring the broadcast captured both the atmosphere among supporters and key moments featuring the players, coaching staff and celebrations.

The challenge was balancing editorial storytelling with the fast-moving nature of a live outdoor event, making quick decisions as the parade progressed through central London.

Behind the Scenes

Although viewers experienced a seamless live programme, the production relied on a sophisticated remote workflow.

Coverage from the route was transported via a combination of bonded cellular, Starlink and private network connectivity back to Subset's production facilities, where the live programme was produced and distributed worldwide.

Working alongside an experienced engineering team allowed production decisions to remain entirely focused on the editorial content while robust technical systems supported uninterrupted live coverage.

The Result

The live world feed delivered uninterrupted coverage throughout the celebrations, allowing football fans around the world to experience Arsenal's victory parade as it unfolded.

Events of this scale rely on close collaboration between production, engineering and operations teams, and it was a privilege to work alongside such an experienced group of professionals to deliver the broadcast.
